At Studio79, everything begins with baby safety. Our studio in Virar West is temperature-controlled to 28–30°C for every newborn session. Every prop, wrap, and fabric is sanitised between sessions. Our team has 36+ years of experience handling newborns and babies of every age, temperament, and stage.
We do not rush, we do not compromise, and we never place your baby in a position that causes discomfort. The best photographs come when your baby is settled, safe, and completely at ease.

Every Milestone, Captured Beautifully
Newborn Session - 0 to 15 Days
The golden window for newborn photography. During the first two weeks, babies are in their most curled, sleepy, deeply posed state — the classic wrapped, bowled, and basket setups that are only possible during this fleeting window. Sessions run 2 to 4 hours at your baby's pace, with unlimited pauses for feeding and settling. All organic wraps, prop baskets, wooden bowls, floral accessories, and backdrops are provided. Book during your third trimester — around week 32–34 — so we can schedule your session within the golden window after your baby arrives.
Two Month Session - Around 8 Weeks
By the second month, your baby has found their first real smiles. Wide-eyed, responsive, beginning to recognise your face and your voice. The two-month session captures this very first layer of personality — before it changes again. All posing provides complete head and neck support. Sessions run 60–90 minutes.
Sitter Session - 6 to 8 Months
Sitting independently. Grabbing everything in reach. Laughing at sounds and faces. The sitter session is our most playful session and often the one that produces the most joyful, spontaneous photographs. Styled setups include seasonal florals, colourful backdrops, and natural textures. Sessions run 60–90 minutes.
Cake Smash & 1 Year Birthday Session
The first birthday is a milestone unlike any other. Structured in two parts: a styled birthday portrait session with clean, composed portraits, followed by the cake smash — pure, unfiltered, messy, joyful chaos that is completely irreplaceable. We document everything as it unfolds naturally. Session runs approximately 2 hours.
The Complete First-Year Milestone Package
Many families at Studio79 book all four milestone sessions together. When photographed at the same studio with the same team across the full year, the resulting series, newborn, two months, six months, one year — becomes something extraordinary. A visual record of the most rapid transformation in a human life, captured with the same quality and consistency from the first day to the last.

Baby Photoshoot — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best age for a newborn photoshoot?
The ideal window is 5 to 15 days after birth. Before day 5, feeding and sleep patterns are still establishing. After day 15, babies uncurl and the deeply posed newborn style becomes difficult to achieve safely.
Is a newborn photoshoot safe?

What should we bring to the session?
Milk or formula for at least 2–3 feeds, nappies, and a comfort item if your baby has one. We provide all props, wraps, accessories, and setups. Parents' outfits should be in soft, solid neutral colours.
Can siblings come to the baby session?
Yes, and sibling shots are some of the most beautiful images from milestone sessions. We include sibling time in every session at no extra charge.
What if my baby cries the whole time?
This is more common than you might think, and it is completely fine. In 36+ years, we have never failed to capture beautiful images. We work at the baby's pace, pause as often as needed, and adapt to whatever mood the session brings.
Do you offer outdoor baby photography?
Our baby and newborn sessions are studio-based, which gives us complete control over temperature, lighting, and hygiene standards. This is especially important for very young babies.
